Congressman Chris Collins Announces Staff Changes
Congressman Chris Collins today is proud to announce changes to his Congressional staff.
Grant Loomis has been promoted and will serve in a new capacity as Deputy Chief of Staff, effective immediately. Mr. Loomis has been with Congressman Collins since 2007. He previously served as the Congressman’s Communications Director, handling the office’s press operation. As Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Loomis will manage the Lancaster and Geneseo district offices, focus on certain policy issues, and spearhead long-range projects.
“Grant’s guidance and expertise have been instrumental to my team for the past seven years,” said Congressman Collins. “He is a trusted aide and I look forward to him expanding his duties as my Deputy Chief of Staff.”
Michael McAdams has been hired as Communications Director, effective immediately, and will be leading the office’s communications and press efforts. Mr. McAdams has worked on Capitol Hill since 2011, working in the Committee on Homeland Security’s press shop and most recently for Congressman Gary Miller (CA-31), where he served as Communications Director.
“I am very excited that Michael is joining our staff,” said Congressman Collins. “His experience and talent will be a tremendous addition to our existing team. I'm looking forward to his guidance and counsel as we continue to work on the serious issues facing the residents of the 27th District.”
