Clarence, NY – Congressman Chris Collins (NY-27) today recognized U.S. Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Laura Norwood of Pendleton, NY as his office’s “Veteran on the Month.”

“It was an honor to present Laura with a small gesture of gratitude for her service,” said Congressman Collins. “Laura has spent her entire life devoted to taking care of those who need it the most, and she represents the veterans here in NY-27 who have served their country with honor. My office will continue to recognize a local ‘Veteran of the Month’ to ensure our communities never forget these patriotic men and women who have selflessly served our country.”

Laura Norwood joined the United States Army Reserve as a registered nurse and served from November 6, 1980 to July 5, 2005.
