Ontario County Airport Receives $847,161 Grant with Help from Congressman Chris Collins
Congressman Chris Collins today announced $847,161 in federal funding from the Federal Aviation Administration for Ontario County Airport. The grant will fund the construction and rehabilitation of the airport’s taxiway including improved lighting and signage.

Continued improvements and maintenance for local infrastructure are necessary expenditures to ensure valuable economic assets like Ontario County Airport can continue to grow and successfully operate.”
“Ontario County would like to thank Congressman Collins for his continued efforts of support to the economic growth within his district,” said Jack Marren, Chairman of the Ontario County Board of Supervisors. “The rehabilitation of the taxiways at the Ontario County IDA Airport in Canandaigua will provide additional opportunities for its growth and contribute to our county’s economy.”
“On behalf of the Ontario County Industrial Development Agency, I would like to thank Congressman Collins for his help on this important project,” said Michael Manikowski, Executive Director for the Ontario County Industrial Agency. “The taxiway rehabilitation grant for D38, the Ontario County IDA Airport in Canandaigua, will provide for additional capacity and safety as we continue to develop this important economic development and transportation asset for Ontario County.”
